Suzu Theatre Museum: The Ark of Light began with the opening of OKU-NOTO TRIENNALE 2020+. It’s a museum like no other before it, intended to preserve, research, and display folk art collected throughout the city while serving as a gallery to exhibit works by modern artists.
Originating from a unique idea, Suzu Theatre Museum sheds light on a new aspect of Okunoto’s lifestyle culture. It also raises an essential question of the deep connection between how art and local culture interact and how folk material is collected and preserved.
Shiosai Restaurant inherited its name from the former lunchroom at Seibu Elementary School. Shigeru Ban designed the building where every seat offers a magnificent view of the sea beyond.
Seasonal ingredients and a spectacular view! Treat yourself to a unique celebration of Noto’s flavors.
